Exceptionaly well carved (Fruit)wood Swiss lion of Luzern. ca 1900. Commemoration plaque of the 760 soldiers of the Swiss Guard who gave their lives in the service of the French king Louis XVI during the French revolution of 1792. "Helvetorium fidei acvirtuti" Allegiance (loyalty) and Valour (bravery)'of the Swiss' and the date August 10 and September 2 and 3, 1792. Measurements appr. 12" x 9.4" x 1.5" (30 x 24 x 4cm.)

Exquisit micro mosaic crucifix from the end of the 19th. century with 6 scenes of temples like the colloseum etc. It looks like a white metal but is probably bronze silvered. A few pieces of glass are missing but can be easily replaced by any jeweler. Measurements are appr. 8" x 4"8 or 20 x 12 cm. First enlargement is after the cross has been polished, the others are before. You can clearly see the difference. A professional cleaning will make this piece look brilliant.

Nice and old ca 1800 Huqqa flask (or hookah base) Brass or bronze. Inlaid with some un-identified black material. Rare round shape. Height 6"2 or (16 cm) old leather piece at bottom to prevent scratching the table.

This is a wonderful piece of craftsmanship. Made from two or more parts of a copper alloy, attached/welded in the middle what you normally see in 17th and 18th century pieces. Embossed and engraved. Heigt 5"5 or (14 cm.)Repaired at the bottom. With a great patina showing age. Minor rubbing possibly due to usage. A museum object. It's a rare find.

Islamic work of art. A lot of work has gone into this beautiful silver sugar bowl. Possibly Iranian. The silver hallmarks are unfortunately not clear. NOTICE:The pictures show at some places a bit of lightbrownish discoloring which is not copper but a reflection of me. The bucket stands appr. 4" heigh with a diam. of also 4" at the top. Weight almost 300gr. Early 20th century?

Islamic work of art. This great "copper/brass"? charger should be in a grand collection is my opinion. Wonderful craftsmenship, beautiful and untouched patin at the back. It has been like forever in my personal collection and I'll be sad to see it go. It's thick and heavy, really solid quallity. Diam. 11.5". Must be 18th century but more likely it's of much earlier date.

Nice original print by one of America's greatest artists Fritz Scholder. Second state of the Noble indian After Dixon. nr. 33 of 54. ( 1975) The first state was an edition of 50, but printed in black. There's a little discolouring along the sides, but can easily be cleaned. A fine early 20th century bronze tazza with lizzard handles and a snake (twisted like a knot) in the center. Signed 'Paciet'.Black Marble base. H. 4.6" or 12 cm. with base and handle to handle 7,5" or 19 cm. Unfortunately 3 drops of cleaning fluid has left a dripping mark in the patine/color on the surface of the dish.

Carved out of one piece of wood this beautifull Chinese sculpture. White metal or silver inlay all over the bull. A small filled crack across the belly of the bull and right hand of the left boy. Otherwise in great condition. Age possibly late 19th century. H. 11" or 28 cm. L. at the base 9" or 23 cm.

Beautiful and very well executed Chinese flower painting on pit paper. Mid 19th century. Appr. 10" x 6.5". Little staining in the top above the mid. small damage in the left low corner. Otherwise in perfect condition considering age. Pictures show unfortunatedly little reflection of the glass. They will however be shipped without the glass to prevent from damage.

Another beautiful Chinese botanical painting of flowers and insects on pit paper. Possibly from the same artist as the other one in my catalogue. Same size, age and condition. Minor damage below the butterfly. Also a little glass reflection in the pictures.

5 small Chinese paintings on silk in folded cardboard with silk outlining. painting size 8.2"x 7.5" boardsize 11" x 10.2" times two because of the folding. The outherside of the the cardboards have all a layer of rice paper which are all a bit worn and there's some staining as well. Because of the folding cardboards the color and silk in the paintings have remained in perfect condition...
