A miniature cinnabar lacquer cabinet. 19th century. Of rectangular form, with two hinged doors. The doors carved with figures at leisure in exterior scenes, within key-fret borders and geometric grounds to the sides and top. Metal mounts. (possibly gilt metal but discoulered) Original lock and key. 41.5 cm high. Condition considering age is remarkable...

Two brass/copper cigar cutters by German sculptor Ignatius Taschner 1871 - 1913. A parrot (rare find) and monkey. The parrot has the Taschner mark at the bottom. Both are in good condition although I believe the monkeys'tale is a replacement. Seperate purchase $ 275 for the parrot, $ 125 for the Monkey. Buying both gives a $ 50 discount.

In nice and unpolished condition. Paktong (Baktong) travelers ink box with well done engravings of bird in tree and a poem. Bird and blossom most likely silverplated. Marked at bottom. 7 x 7 x 3 cm.

Chinese silver cigaret case/box. Marked for Wang Hong & co. Hong Kong ca 1900/20 silvermark character and 90. Small but weighty case with embossed design of bamboo and plumtree. Shield for monogramm engraving to personalize or gift. 7 x 8.5 x 1.5 cm. Some wear what you expect from a hundred year old cigaret case but otherwise in good condition. Not overly polished and no repairs.

A well used early 19th century long stemmed Chinese paktong/baktong opium pipe. The design and possible signature and or poetry engravings has faded/worn of due to usage and age. The copper woven ring (pict.3) can slide. The purpose of it is not clear to me. Lenght. 16"5 or 42 cm.

A very well painted portrait of a sad little girl with a tear by Rosti. As there're many paintings and prints of the cursed crying boy by p.a. Bruno Amadio and others, little crying girls are a rare find. The artist Rosti,(maybe C.F.Rosti 1885?), gave this girl the most beautifull expression in which I believe every parent recognizes the sad moments of there own children. Material: oil on canvas with original frame. Frame size: 12"5 x 14"5 Condition: good Age: 50/60's

Lovely detailed bronze figure on wood and ivory stand. Playing a ballgame. (Takraw) Good condition. H. with base 8" or 20 cm.

Nice bronze group on wooden stand. Chinese or Japanese bronze casting of an ox and boy with a flute. Good condition. appr. L. 7" H. 4.5". (18 x 11.5 cm)

Old Songye mask ca. 1900/20 with all the wear and tear you expect to find on a used and hand made dance mask. Well made with good symmetry. Appr. 16" or 40 cm. More pictures on request.

With great craftsmenship made is this old Chinese lidded box. Accurately turned and carved. The wood has worked a bit over the years and left a split which has been professionally glued to prevent from further damage. Still a great and unique piece for any collection. You will not find another one. High quality carving. 19th.century or earlier period. Appr. measurements H.3" Diamtr.4". (7.5 x 10 cm.)
