This adorable wooden pull-toy circa 1930's features two painted wood elephants playing ball over a fence. Their trucks lift up & down when a lever underneath moves - unfortunately just pulling the toy does not make them move anymore. Normal wear from age & use, the striped celluloid ball between them is cracked has a hole on one side. Still quite a charmer! Measures approx. 15" long x 5" wide x 8" tall.

SOLD - Merci!

I found this delightful tin box at an antique show in Reims, in the Champagne region of France. Circa 1920's, children used a box like this one to take their "gouter" or snack, to school. On the top there is an adorable image of a cat & a child running from a mischievous dog, and a small mouse appears on the side. Other than minor paint touch-ups to the child's leg (see photos) this box is in good shape. It measures approx 7" long x 3-1/2" wide x 2-3/4" h ...click for details
