| This is a wonderful light blue transferware platter in the Italian Scenery pattern by John Meir & Sons, Staffordshire, c. 1837-97. Central scene features a river scene with people and animals, and a Roman building in the background. The border alternates between florals and medallions of people scenes. The back has printed mark with pattern and maker's name. Measures 12.5 x 10 and is in mint condition with very minimal crazing. No chips, cracks, repairs or discoloration. | |
