This wonderful Mesa Verde mug has vibrant paint and a stunning design. The opening is shaped into an oval like shape. This could have been deliberately shaped this way to make it pour a certain way, or it is possible it slumped in firing. The checkerboard like design is duplicated on the handle. This small pitcher or mug has Chaco and Reserve influence. The straight spout and dimpled bottom point to Chaco. There is a checkerboard like pattern around the bottom and stripes on the spout. The design carries onto the handle. 5" by 5".
