All original, with three repaired break lines, this gorgeous Casas jar has great detail and strong paint. It is thought by many that the remnants of the Anasazi wound up at Casas Grandes, and it is easy to see the Anasazi influence in this piece. Beautiful Mimbres geometric bowl, with both bold and fineline design. There is a set of repair holes, made by the ancients, on the rim. This small pitcher or mug has Chaco and Reserve influence. The straight spout and dimpled bottom point to Chaco. There is a checkerboard like pattern around the bottom and stripes on the spout. The design carries onto the handle. 5" by 5".
This little Red Mesa pitcher has design elements that show both Reserve and Snowflake influence. Very well executed designs and beautiful shape. 4" by 4".
This wonderful Mesa Verde mug has vibrant paint and a stunning design. The opening is shaped into an oval like shape. This could have been deliberately shaped this way to make it pour a certain way, or it is possible it slumped in firing. The checkerboard like design is duplicated on the handle. This beautiful mug is one of the largest and best Jeddito mugs we have ever had. Flawless, with gorgeous paint. The wide stripe at the bottom of the design has a "spirit break" in it. This is usually found in bowls. Stunning piece. 6-1/4" across by 5" high.
