Anasazi Cedar Creek Polychrome Bowl
A Fine and Rare Anasazi Cedar Creek Bowl.

This type bowl is attributed to the Anasazi/Mogollon culture and is dated to Ca. 1300 - 1375 A.D.

This bowl has one small shard restored on the rim, and a small amount of the white design on the exterior enhanced, otherwise intact.

Measures 9-3/4" wide by 4-1/2" deep.

The Anasazi had no written language, so we are left to our own imagination to wonder what they were trying to convey by the symbols that were painted on their beautiful pottery pieces.
