Maya "Chiefs" Bowl
A beautiful, fluted bottom Maya Chiefs bowl, Ca. 600 - 900 A.D.

This classic Maya bowl has 6 figures seated around the outside of the bowl, and has Turkey Vultures and a cardinal direction marker on the inside. It also has a nice fluted base. Five of the figures have a speaking glyph in front of them, and one does not. Almost like the one is being judged or spoken to by the others. Very strong paint and deposits.

Measures 7-3/4" wide by 3" tall.
