| Deco Deep Orange Coral Brooch and Earrings Very nice Deco period, circa 1920, intact matching brooch and earrings set. It's always to nice to find these pieces still together and this is an exceptionally deep colored set. The color is a deep red/orange and all the pieces are original and intact. The brooch measures 1 3/4 inches at the widest point and the earrings 1 1/4 inches at the widest point on the bottom and approximately 7/8 inches on the top where they touch the ear. These earrings are clips. The brooch has the original c-clasp. All the coral are held into place with a wire glued into a tiny hole. So these corals are nice and secure. A few have had re-enforcement with new glue only visible on the back but the backs actually look very nice as well. These are all hand-cut coral pieces and this type of jewelry is handmade. This is a great, wearable and collectible set for your collection of what has become "precious" coral. | ||
