| This is a rare and delicate vintage enamel bracelet I think was made in France. There are nine panels which measure 3/4 inch in length and approximately 1/2 inch in width. They are linked together with rings that have gold colored caps. Each panel has a gold colored rope border and the enamel panels are held in place with scalloped gold colored settings. The greatest detail and beauty lies in the enamel panels. There are four different patterns, nine panels total. In the center each panel contains a red or green paste stone in a raised setting. The panels have royal blue backgrounds bordered by tiny white enamel bead work and a central design. The only flaws are one missing white bead and one chipped white bead on the two outside panels. Other than this there is no enamel damage I can see. The clasp is set with a garnet cabochon which is probably a replacement but looks good with the enamel panels. The push clasp is in good working order and there is a safety chain. It measures 6 1/2 inches in length. The backs are closed. The metal is color tone and shows wear on the inside where it touches the wrist. This is commensurate with the age of the piece and is not visible when worn. | ||
