A faience circular inlay consisting of a white and yellow rosette/flower pattern on a grey-blue background.
Egypt, probably 20th Dynasty, 12th Century BC
Intact apart from a chip on the back
Size: 2 x 0.6 cms
Ex. collection: Rodney Watts, London, UK; acquired by his father in the early 20th Century.
A large number of similar inlays were found at Tell el-Yahudiyeh, in a temple built by Ramesses III.

A small but finely detailed moulded pottery figure of an erote in running posture. Some traces of red and pale blue pigment remain on the surface.
Hellenistic, 3rd or 2nd Century BC
Front leg repaired, wings from back lost
