Two German porcelain figures from the late 19th century (1870-90), showing a man and a woman in Japanese dress - or at least what Europeans imagined Japanese dress to look like. Each of them is standing on a bat (one of the Chinese symbols for luck) and carrying two large baskets with the help of a yoke on their shoulders.
They are both marked "KPM", but the mark is apocryphal.
