Fukagawa Koransha vase 1880-1900 mid-Meiji era
Japanese Imari vase produced in the famous Koransha studio (which was founded by the Fukagawa family in the second half of the 19th century). It is decorated in underglaze blue as well as overglaze red, orange and gold, showing floral decoration.

It is marked on the underside with the Koransha trademark (an orchid) in red.

Diameter 8 cm (3"), height 15.5 cm (6"), perfect state (apart from some expected rubbing on the gold)
