Victorian french ivory carnet de bal necessaire that has discernable grain in the back and a warm patina. A delicate sterling silver applique on the lid and metal clasp closure. Length 4 1/4". Width 2 1/4". Condition of outer lid is good, the inside is frail and worn, no paper, pencil holders empty.
