| This is a wonderful 18-19 Century Russian or French ivory box in neoclassical style with high quality hand painted ivory miniature of the sitting lady with the birds on the top of the box. The miniature placed in brass frame. The colors, tones and shadowing of the miniature are incredible. The box made inside from tortoise. According to the age the box has the small chips. I didn’t find a signature. Dimension of a box is: diameter 2"3/8', thickness 1". | |||||||
