Antique Tibetan gilt bronze Dakini, with traces of silver, inlay of coral and turquoise. In her hands are a raised kappala (or skull cup) filled with the elixir of life, and a curved blade. She is dancing on top of corpses to show her rule over ignorance and ego. Her lotus pedestal is made of gilt copper.

The Dakini are wrathful female deities often shown nude with long, flowing hair and glowering expression...

Antique Tibetan gilt bronze Tibetan Buddhist deity figures, posed into a tantric Yabyum position. The male deity figure wears an elaborate crown with inlay of diamonds and pointed finial. He holds in his hands a vajra (meaning thunderbolt/diamond in Sanskrit), a ritualistic weapon in Buddhism, and a bell. These items represent dualism just as the yabyum. The figures are raised on a tall hardwood pedestal, custom-made for the piece.

Antique Chinese porcelain cricket cage of a gourd form. Its lid has reticulated air vents, enamel peonies and Chinese characters and gilt edge details. The cage front has enamel scene of a young boy and girl having tea in a field of flowers, with an inscription on the backside. Red four character mark on base.

Antique Sumatra / Indonesian sterling silver betel nut box. Its sides are decorated by impressions of flowers and vines, as well as the corners of the lid with top handle. Antique Korean scholar's low table. Its top pair of panels are book matched of persimmon wood, with a boxwood frame. The inner compartment still shows traces of ink; The opposite compartment would hold brushes. The drawer has a wonderful persimmon cover that continues to the order of the low table.
