Chinese cabinet made of jumu (elm) wood with tapering A-line design, deep translucent red lacquer finish, two drawers at bottom, 2 removable shelves inside, 74" high x 39 1/2" wide x 21" deep.

Tall Chinese hexagonal table with marble top. Republic Period (circa 1920). 32 1/2" high x 14 1/2" wide x 14 1/2" deep.

Chinese desk with matching chair made of rosewood. The desk has five drawers with brass rectangular pulls. The chair is adorned with small flowers in the upper corners of the back. The desk measures 22" deep 46" wide 31" tall. 20th century.

Tall Chinese hardwood cabinet in two sections, elaborately carved all over with scenes of eight dragons in light color wood on dark hardwood ground carved with swirling clouds, rocks and waves. The sides of the cabinet are also made of dark hardwood and carved with scrolling key fret motif. Brass hardware is incised with matching key fret and chimera designs. c. 1950. Total size: 86 " high x 35 1/4" wide x 15 3/4" deep (bottom section is 66 1/2" high. top section is 19 1/2" high)

Small Japanese vanity tansu with seven drawers and two sliding doors, the front done in a variety of hardwoods, panels in gorgeous dark Jichimu (chickenwing wood) framed in rosewood, another set of sliding doors done in Keyaki wood, with brass handles and a beautiful lacquered black interior. Taisho period (1912-1926) Size: 13.5" height, 13.5" width, 9.5" depth

This is a mid century modern console table made of solid Acacia wood. Thick slabs were combined with strong dovetail joinery to make this beautiful piece. The natural finish eccentuates the undulating wood grain of this table.

A mid century artist signed Ikebana basket for flower arranging. Made of delicate fine split bamboo, thin bamboo and Akebi vine. The three dimensional shape resembles a flared skirt when viewed in front and a boat keel when viewed from the side. A vintage Japanese contemporary low Mizuya Tansu made from solid Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. Two sliding doors open to a spacious storage area. Three side by side drawers along the bottom with Hikute iron handles. Taiko drum nail heads decorate the sliding doors and horizontal side bars add structural strength as well as aesthetic beauty to the chest.

Rare early 20th century Korean red lacquer cabinet with elaborate inlaid designs adorning the front of the chest. Four sections in total including the base. Imagery of exotic birds, deer, and turtles among a assortment of flowers can be seen throughout. Each cabinet is comprised of three sections : the top, bottom, and base Plus the stand (two pull out drawers).

Styled in traditional Korean fashion with double hinged doors on the top section and single hinged doors on the rest...

Below are 3 drawers where personal effects were stored. Original hardware including the Warabite handles. Constructed using straight dovetail joinery and wood dowels to hide the nail connections.

A vintage Japanese Kamo Kimono Biraki Tansu in 2 sections made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hardware and natural finish. Upper section has 2 sliding doors behind which lies a split level shelf and 2 small drawers with a pair of hinged doors that hides 4 full width Kimono trays. The bottom section has 3 side by side drawers and 3 full width drawers below.

A mid century Japanese Biraki Kimono Tansu (chest with hinged doors) made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) Wood. Two large hinged doors open to a set of three Kimono trays. Side handles used for carrying the tansu from place to place. Front door plates feature Paulownia flowers and leaves.

A Spanish Colonial Peruvian sun burst mirror with hand carved and gold gilt finish. A splendora of hand carved rays undulating in size flowing out in all directions. The semi-circular tiles surround the oval shaped convex mirror. Original antique spotting finish to the perimeter of the concave mirror. Ready to be mounted and enjoyed.
