A round studio ware vase done on a black base glaze with white covering areas of the vase with a bit swirled with black. The vase contains a signature that appears to read: Kotaro. Age: Late 20th century. Size: height 6.5" diameter 7"
A square Mashiko ware vase done in a cooper toned glaze done by Hamada Shoji. On the bottom of the square vase is a paper label with a seal of the artist's name, Hamada and the number 9. The label may have been placed for an exhibition. The work also comes with a document concerning about the piece. Age: Late Showa Era (late 20th century). Size: height 7' width 4.9" length 4.9"
An interesting tubular shaped Mashiko ware vase by Hasegawa Tsugio. The vase is done in the ash glaze method where the ash that circulates inside the kiln covers the fired piece creating interesting patterns and colors, late 20th century. Size: Height: 8" Length: 5" Width: 2.25"
