An antique Chinese Lingbi stone (scholar's rock or spirit stone) has a very distinct ring when it is struck. Scholar's rocks are appreciated for their unusual shapes, asymmetry, color and texture. Scholars refer to them as "bones of the earth". It is a carved blackish stone overhang with perforations. It set upon a contemporary Shuozhou style carved rosewood base with 4 rounded feet.

Japanese Hand Painted scroll of a warrior in a fighting stance with sword drawn, signed by the famous print maker Yoshitoshi Mori ((1898-1992). Unusual that this is a true painting and not a woodblock print. Very Collectable Size: (total) 49" H, 19" W, (painting only) 16.5" H, 12.25" W

Japanese 4-panel byobu folding screen, with a shochikubai or "Three Friends of Winter" motif (plum, pine, and bamboo), the image of a pheasant seated upon a jagged rock formation, with a small singing bird on the twisting trunk of the plum tree. The image was taken directly from a commemorative stamp which is affixed to the corner of the frame.

Beautifully carved peking glass lotus, with bright white, pink, and green glass layers. Peking glass is a special process in which glass is dipped into differently colored glass layer by layer, and the excess is carved away. Chinese carving of a recumbent horse with head over his shoulder, beautifully carved of very dark green jade, sitting on wooden base also carved to look like a rock. Mid 20th century. Total size with stand: 5 1/2" high x 7" long x 4" deep Size of horse only: 3 3/4" high x 6" long x 2 1/2" deep

Beautiful Chinese hardwood seal treasure box, possible Zitan or Wumu wood,with all over carved design of complex geometric motifs and dragons. Four drawers are hidden on each side with dividers inside for storing and organizing seals. Its stand is intricately carved with spirals and flowers. Dates from the 20th century. Korean mask for use in dance performances widely known as talchum or Yangju Pyolsandae Nori. Though these dances vary by region, they all share common themes such as exorcism, ritualistic dance, satire, and parodies of wealthy upperclassmen and would often be performed on the day of Buddha's birth and other seasonal festivals...

A beautiful jadeite in a wonderful emerald green tone, mounted on a 14K gold band with feminine form. Band is marked "14K" and "5.85". Size: .75 cm x 1 cm

Chinese large, round porcelain vase with high neck. Made of porcelain with a bright lime-green crackle glaze. White glaze rim and underside. A blue 6 character mark on the bottom.

A large shinto shrine constructed in the style based on the Grand Shrine of Ise. This type of construction for small shrines is often used by the local residents in Ise. The shrine contains fine details in the woodwork and brass fittings fit for a deity. Age: 20th century. Size: height 23.75" width 19" length 36"

Green jadeite ring with areas of beautiful deep green, set in an 18K yellow gold ring with incised lines that come to a triangular point. The inside of the band is inscribed with Chinese markings that have been partially worn away from use. 20th century Size: 2.25" length of entire ring, jadeite stone approx. .75" height, .5" width

Chinese carved agate snuff bottle, one side has a fu-dog and a bat, the other side has an old man scholar sitting near a door in a stone wall and another bat, the agate is a pretty light yellowish orange color with white striations of which the figures are carved, lid is reddish orange agate, 20th century.
