| An interesting mounted panel of an uchiwa (hand fan) fragment depicting a scene from the Tales of Heike possibly from the section the battle at Dan no Ura. The painting contains the signature crest of the Heike clan ( the butterfly). The surrounding paper is utilizing gold and silver leaf kirigane (cut-gold and silver leaf) to create the pattern.
