| Sun Yusheng (1918-2000) was the noted disciple of Zhang Daqian, one of China's foremost artists of the 20th century. The piece is a mounted work is a still life painting of a bird perched on a branch of a tree with a few bamboo stalks near the trunk of the tree. Inscription reads that the work was presented to Keli in December of 1976, inspired by Song Artists. Signed, Yunsheng, Sun Jiarui, and sealed.
