| Japanese shoe tansu, or Geta bako with the ingenuity of Japanese woodcraft design. The side door of the chest contains a sliding wooden piece to hold the door when closed. The wooden panels on the back of the tansu contain spaces to let air flow through. The entire tansu is crafted in sugi or cryptomeria.
