Antique Japanese hand embroidered Sakiori vest. Made from hand-woven and dyed indigo cotton with Sashiko patchwork. Each sakiori vest is 100% individual and handmade. Making them one of a kind pieces. Originally used by an individual that would have pulled a snow sled. The fabric is placed in such a way to protect to person from the rope being slung across ones chest. Beautiful use of original fabric combining for a true work of art.
