Born in Stadtprozelten, Halberg-Krauss became a talented artist in many fields. Largely self taught, he was influenced by J. Wenglein and H. Burges. He painted landscapes in the Isar River Region in Bavaria and the Alps His paintings and illustrations, as well as his graphic work and photography, drew wide acclaim. His work was exhibited at the Palace de Glace in Munich.
