Hand-colored engraving of boat scene titled " Vue de la Faubourg a Dordrecht Proche de la Porte du Grand Cour" framed in a Dutch-style frame. From Belthazar Frederic Leizelt's "Vues d'Optiques" ca 1775. Text in French and Dutch, with title at top in reverse supposedly to do with "magic lantern" slide-show techniques employed at the time. 26" wide by 22" high. Framed with conservation materials
