Old Mexican Sterling Abalone & Green Stone Ring-4.5

This abalone and green stone sterling silver ring is old and is marked, JFG, 925. This is attributed to an artist from Guadalajara in Bille Hougart's book, The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks. The green stone may be agate or jade and has some beautiful darker green and brown matrix in it. It is designed with the stones bezel-set with silver rope around each bezel and two small granulated silver balls in between. It is very old and since it is pre-Eagle, it is older than 1948. It measures a size 4-1/2, and measures approximately 1-1/2" long x 5/8" at the widest point. It is in very good vintage condition and is a beautiful little ring.
