| This is a great old hand-labeled POWDERED OPIUM bottle that came out of the attic of FRYER'S DRUG STORE in SPENCERVILLE, OHIO. We were contacted by the retired pharmacist and his wife about four years ago. It was a cold, rainy November day when we made the trip to SPENCERVILLE. There were some very interesting items in the old attic, and this is one of them. One of the first businesses in town to have a telephone was the drug store. Notice the phone number: 244. This bottle dates to C1900. It is 2.5" tall. Some 100 year old powder remains. Contents are sold only for collector purposes and must not be used in any way.
