This scarce remedy from THE H. K. MULFORD COMPANY of PHILADELPHIA was an early SEX TONIC. As you can see, APHRODISIAC is noted on the large label. Also note the price in period druggist's pencil on the label: 20 cents per ounce. Quite racey for c1880, don't you think? FLUID EXTRACT OF DAMIANA was also used as a tonic and diuretic. This remarkable bottle is 7" tall. The bottom is embossed H. K. MULFORD COMPANY, PHILADELPHIA. Due to evaporation, about 1.5" of contents remain.
