96" wide, 22" deep, 33" high, composed of some 17th C with 19th C replacements and embellishments. Drawers set in the frieze. Provenance: Colonial Williamsburg, Carter's Grove.
Together with a stand made at a later date, the oak hanging cupboard is 23.5" wide, 13" deep, 24" high and add about 31" for the stand (I you want to use it that way) for 53" high total.
Recently deacessioned from the Stawberry Bank Museum (they believed it to be New England, I believe this bench is English. Repairs. Old caning\ and old black paint. Circa 1710-20.
