RARE and Very Large ART DECO American Depression Art Glass RUBA ROMBIC TOPAZ Vase!!! Documented the Consolidated Glass Company of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania circa 1927, and designed by Reuben Haley!!! In reading some literature, I found that ALL Ruba Rombic is very rare, as only 2,000-3,000 pieces have survived. This piece is very large at 9 1/2" tall. The design of it is extremely futuristic for something from the 1920s. Clearly Mr. Reuben Haley was way ahead of his time! The condition of the vase is very good, with only 1 small 1/4" flat chip to the rim, and has water residue about 2" off the top of the vase. I should say that just by rubbing my finger on it, by the small amount of oils in the fingers, it looks like it fades off and the dark color helps. There is no other damage (chips, nicks, or impact marks). In EXCELLENT Condition!!!
