This is a tall and massive buffet 2 corps made from solid walnut by the first half of the 19th century during the reign of Louis Philippe. This elegantly simple piece features an upper part mounted with a flat molded cornice sitting upon a pair of triple paneled doors and 6 drawers surrounding a niche below, standing above the large bottom buffet with a 3-drawer frieze and a pair of recessed paneled doors. A tall and handsome gilded mirror made at the beginning of the 19th century mounted by an elaborate cartouche centering a cherub flanked by acanthus leaves upon the original non-beveled mirror surrounded by a simple frame nicely adorned with floral and acanthus patterns. This piece is in overall good condition, some minor chips can be seen on the frame due to the age but are easily restorable. The mirror is in good shape with a few dark spots. Circa date 1800. Dimensions 75”high/ 45”wide.

This is a charming Louis XV Style chest of drawers made at the beginning of the 20th century and topped by its original serpentine-shaped jura brocatelle marble originally from Jura (North East of France) sitting upon a rosewood bombe façade featuring a pair of drawers “sans traverse” embellished with floral inlaid and the original bronze mounts. Charming late 19th century sofa “Corbeille” made from a nicely patinaed walnut and covered by pink velvet in good condition estimated to be approximately 15 years old. The lovely scrolled frame is simply adorned with acanthus patterns and flower-heads on the apron. The pediment consists of 6 cabriole legs, which insure sturdiness. This piece is in overall good condition and for sale as is. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 38”high/ 19”seat height/ 65”wide/ 28 ½”deep.
