| This incredible runner has the most unique hand loomed weave with a hand embroidered monogram and self fringe,secured with teeny little hand stitches! It has one of the most interesting and unique weaves I've seen ,as well as the 1" deep openwork "punto tirato" in needle weaving and overcast stitch, near each end! Could be purposed for a towel ,But is so long it is perfect as a table runner. It has a very nice med. to heavy crisp weight. The 2.25" high, hand embroidered RB monogram in white is only on one end, though not professional is charming! Most likely a trousseau piece. It measures 65" long X 22.5" ,I imagine it is late 1800's. There are 2 very small faint spots near the back edge that didn't show in photo. | ||
