| This very long waffle woven towel has an incredible amount of different designs hand executed in tiny turkey red and forest green stitches. A varied assortment of sizes and styles and letters must have been a sampler for some young lady to practice her stitches! And she used her imagination to apply it to this 71" X 13" towel! When draped over a towel rack it even measures 43". It appears to be well used but still in good condition. There is a stain ,which will lighten, near the image of a tassel on the left, 2 weak spots near one side edge on the back side, and the fringe is shabby.The most puzzleing part is unusual very faint blueish coloring in the fabric, which doesn't show in photos but in certain light. Perhaps some sort of bluing was used to whiten it? I never use bleach or bluing and did not give this a long soaking, as I never noticed until I ironed it. Price reflects condition. I think this would be fabulous especially at Christmas! | ||
