| Impressed marks on the bottom of this delightful teapot indicate it was made for the Pension des Alpes Vevey by B.Bohrman,It has additional impressed marks of 98 in a diamond and the numbers 1 and 8 in seperate rectangles. Also at the bottom of the B Bohrmann Frankfurt A/M is the number 2. The shape of this as well as the glowing patina is just enchanting! There are the usual signs of age, and I think it is circa 1900. Almost 5" tall and 5 1/2 wide ,from the handle to spout. Hotel silver has that rich deep lustre and is much heavier than avg. silverplate. | ||
