A soft turquoise vase with wireless and wired design of a single tall flowering tree with silver rims and bearing the Ando Shippo mark on the base. The vase is 12 inches (31 cm) tall, 7 inches (18 cm) diameter and in excellent condition. The Ando Cloisonné studio has been considered one of the top studios in Japan since the Meiji period. On the rim of the bas is the jun-gin stamp (solid silver). This piece likely dates from the early to mid Showa, mid 20th century.
