A pair of miniature screens enclosed in a custom made wooden box dating from the early Showa era, first half of the 20th century. Sprays of blossoming plum and rustling stands of bamboo grow robustly in the late winters cool, a gold sheen in the background promising the coming of Spring. The screens measure 14-3/4 by 34 inches (38 x 86 cm) each. They are in excellent condition with only some minor puckers in the right hinge of the left screen.

The ink on paper work is bordered in mustard cloth with gray piping and features bone rollers.
