| A Buddhist image of the popular demi-god Fudomyo in ink and watercolor on paper by renowned Buddhist art expert Hayashiya Tanyo (1919-1999) enclosed in the original signed wooden box and dating from 25 to 40 years ago. With the manner and presence the painting exudes, it could be from 7 centuries ago. It is bordered in Ash colored cloth with beige extensions. There is a brownish water-stain along the roller, and some bubbling in the surface (see pictures). It measures 21-3/4 by 69-1/2 inches (55 by 176 cm). | ||||||||
