These lovely vintage Indian earrings are traditional Kundun style often used in dowry jewelry. Each pierced earring is 1 1/2" in diameter and both are made from hand worked sterling silver with a gold vermeil finish. This gorgeous vintage Austro Hungarian pin is made from 800 silver and decorated in a Renaissance revival style. The front has enamel details with large paste garnets and natural small ones. The emeralds are genuine but have been color enhanced. The reverse has an intricate filigree backing and the secure safety clutch is a replacement of the original "C" scroll closure. It is in very good condition and bears the doghead #3 hallmark on the pin stem dating it to pre 1922.
