| These amazing hair ornaments are by the master Taxco silversmith, Hubert Harmon. His whimsical and sometimes odd designs are highly sought after, and extremely hard to find. These ornaments came directly from the original estate, and were purchased at Harmon's Taxco taller in the early 1940's. The largest ornament is approximately 5 1/2" long x 2 1/4" wide and is signed "Hubert Harmon Made in Mexico" on the reverse. The other two spherical ornaments are 5 1/2" long but one has a 22.5MM sphere and the other has a 30MM sphere. These 2 ornaments have the studded design in the round, so there is no surface area to hallmark them like the larger one. The set is handwrought from brass, and each has a great vintage patina. They have a great sculptural quality and would look great mounted simply mounted on lucite pedestals. | ||||||||
