| This dramatic necklace was designed by Taxco maestro, Antonio Pineda, and was purchased from the estate of opera diva, Anna Moffo Sarnoff. It is exquisitely made from sterling silver and has 7 amethyst tear drop stones. It is 1 3/4" wide in front and has a wearable length of 15 1/2". It is double stamped "Sterling Mexico CM 970" with the eagle mark of 121. This hallmark is identified as one of Antonio's in "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks" by Bille Hougart. It is in excellent condition, and has nice provenance. | |||||||||
