| This unusual two layered pin is an early example of the work of Maison Gripoix. It is 2 1/2" long x 2 1/2" wide x 3/4" thick and has light blue and clear pate de verre glass cabochons. The silver tone setting has a small amount of verdi gris which is common in jewelry using this glass technique. The glass cabochons have some irregularities, and 2 of the clear ones have internal fractures which are not visible when worn. The reverse pin assembly is a later addition, but it is secure and works perfectly. It has a unique asymmetric design and looks great on a variety of colors. | ||||||||||
