Hand thrown Awaji pottery vase with wide base, tightly drawn waist, and ruffled trumpet mouth. Slender handles unite the mouth and base. Rich and dark cobalt blue monochrome glaze. Hand thrown. Circa 1910. 8" high. Impressed export and kiln marks. Excellent condition.

French Sarreguemines art pottery vase. Hand thrown "point bottle" form. Green, yellow, caramel colored transparent drip glaze. Aesthetic movement, circa 1880. 10" high. Impressed SARREGUEMINES on base, partially obscured by glaze. Small flake on rim touched up.

Large English ironstone jardiniere in rich Imari colors. All over floral pattern. Lively shape with scalloped mouth rim, drawn neck, high articulated shoulder, splayed foot, and elaborate rococco handles. Unidentified blue mark on base, possibly Mason's? Circa 1840. 15" across handles, 12" high. Hard to see repair to one scalloped edge, as shown.

Art pottery vase of nouveau form with tendril buttress handles. Striking blue flambe glaze with crystals over deep cranberry. We have not been able to identify the manufacturer, but have always imagined it to be French. Circa 1900. 11" high. Impressed mold number and a blue mark which may or may not be a maker's stamp. Chip on inner mouth rim with Japanese style gilt lacquer repair.

Nice pair of English Pilkington's art pottery vases of double gourd form with good crystalline glaze. Great blue color too! Pilkington's "BEE" mark, P with two bees, slightly obscured by glaze. Circa 1910. 7" high. Excellent condition.
