19th century French porcelain jardiniere in Chinese famille verte style by the famous French copyist Samson. Nice form and finely painted decoration with French bronze mounts and cover screen for flower arrangements. Spurious red hunting horn mark in imitation of 18th century Chantilly. Sophisticated piece with an interesting history. 10" wide, 7" deep, 5 1/2" high. Screen has some wear, porcelain is in excellent condition.
