Antique Japanese folk or noh mask depicting a princess. Ca. 1900. Mask is wooden and hand-carved. This type of mask is usually lacqured. Unusual to see one in plain wood. Nice old patina. Measures 8.5" in height. Condition is good with some light wear (rubbing, etc).
