Wonderful full Margot de Taxco Mexican silver parure. Margot Van Voorhees Carr, was an American designer who moved to Mexcico in the 1930's. She became affectionately known as Margot de Taxco when she opened her own shop in 1948 . She was very successful and her jewelry has garnered collectors worldwide. This complete set was collected over a period of years. It consists of a bracelet, necklace and earrings.

Wonderful example of the William Spratling dragonfly pin. This pin is rendered in sterling and topped with tortoise shell wings. It has the 3rd design period mark, 1951-1967, The marks are script and the condition excellent. It measures 2 3/8X 1 3/4 inches.
I have personally enjoyed wearing this pin along with it's twin smaller version, also listed. Both are shown, but only the larger applies to this listing. Mexico, 1951-1967 Classical Spratling.
