| These antique gold moonstone earrings are circa 1840. They have cabachon blue moonstones exhibiting that beautiful sheen known as adularescence. The gold work is lovely with fine details and texture. The two sections can be detached, allowing the top worn to be worn alone for 'day wear." They are all original, including the back to front ear wires. They measure 1 3/8 inches from the top of the wire X slightly over 1/2 inches across the bottom. They are in excellent condition and the perfect complement to any Victorian moonstone or gold jewelry. England, circa 1840 | ||||||||
