I love finding early period lockets....This 15k Georgian locket has a wonderful clean rectangular shape . The only ornamentation is at the top, and that too was designed with restraint. It is designed with sturdy bezels and a depth that can easily house a lock of hair, photo, or small gemstones, so popular today. It measures 3/4 inches across X 1 inch long X 1/4 inch depth. It comes with a contemporary black cord with a 14k gold clasp, The condition is excellent and it is completely original including the beveled glass. Wear it as seen in the photos, or use it to keep a memory close to your heart England, circa 1820 |
