| This 18k brooch is an English reverse crystal intaglio circa 1880. The finest of these brooches are Essex crystals, and the carving and detail speaks for itself. This horse and rider are absolutely beautiful, the details crisp, and the colors vibrant. The rider's shirt has blue and white stripes and yellow sleeves. The crystal is backed with mother of pearl. The pin is in the form of a riding crop and the central crystal is flanked by two horse shoes set with rose cut diamonds. It measures 1 7/8 inches across X 3/4 inches long. It is completely original and in excellent condition. | ||||||||
