This lovely necklace is English circa 1920. Designed in 9k gold, it has a trace link chain and three substantial bezel set cabachon blue moonstones. This form of necklace having two drops that are asymmetrical are referred to as negligee,for its delicate and feminine design. It was very popular in the 1920's and so easy to wear with today's fashion. It measures 18 inches long and the central section measuring 1 1/2 inches long x 1/2 inches wide. The necklace is very well done with fine details such as millegrain bezels. It is in excellent condition and all original. |
