| This lovely pendant is 18th century. Designed with faceted pink topaz that have been foiled back for additional brilliance, it has an incomparable statement of beauty. All 31 diamonds, in hand set rub over silver mounts, vary with rose and table cuts. The table cut being one of the earlier cuts of diamonds that are flat at the top with tiny side facets. The diamonds which are also foil back, have a soft gray hue and are beautiful in contrast to the rich pink of the topaz. The floral motif is designed with constraint and the silver work very beautiful. The topaz stones have fine millegrain bezels and there is a faint residue of a gold wash on the silver. The reverse has evidence that this was originally a slide to be worn on a ribbon as a choker. It has been converted to a pendant and could easily be converted back to its original design if desired. The pendant measures 1 3/4 inches down x 1 1/8 across. The topaz stones measure approximately 11mm x 5mm. The stones are completely original and other than the pendant conversion, it is void of any alteration or repair. This is a one of a kind, beautiful 18th century pendant. | ||||||||||||
