| Lovely Victorian banded agate necklace, circa 1860. The necklace is composed of perfectly matched graduated beads that are chocolate brown,black and white. This very desirable and collectible color combination is rarer to find. Many necklaces of this period have variegated color or do not have original beads. The combination of black beads with white striping are most commonly found. These beads perfectly graduate from 13mm to a bold 18.5mm and measure 17 3/4 inches in length. It has has been professionally restrung and knotted, terminating with a secure 14k gold spring ring clasp. It has a sophisticated,unique look and is easily worn casually or for dress wear.
